The area, the proposed alpine ski resort creation site, is situated 6 km to the east of the village Krasnaya Polyana and includes about 1 820 ha of the northern, north-eastern and southern slopes of the Aibga ridge, which elevate from the Mzymta river up to the ridge top.
Project Realization Territory
The Alpine Ski Resort Rosa Khutor construction site (appr. 541,5 ha) is the most attractive one in the area of Krasnaya Polyana from the point of view of alpine sport.
Mountain Area Characteristics
• Slope aspect: north and northeast;
• Slope gradients: range from 8,5 to 48 percent, steeper slopes are prevalent at the upper elevation above 1 500 m, while the gradients of the proper pists range from 18 to 42 percent.
